PsychHealth Clinical Care

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Android package: uk.co.psychealth.clinical.rapidcare.branch

This Privacy Policy explains how RAPID PSYCHIATRY ACCESS LTD handles information in connection with the Android application PsychHealth Clinical Care (package uk.co.psychealth.clinical.rapidcare.branch). The app helps registered nurses on psychiatric and substance abuse units keep track of nursing care episodes and recurring monitoring orders, and it issues a nursing care summary document.

The app is built to work locally on the device. The records a nurse enters are held in the application's own storage on the Android device and are not automatically transmitted to the company as part of the core workflow. This policy describes what is stored, when information leaves the device, and the choices available to users.

Data Stored on Your Device

The working information a nurse enters is kept in the application's storage on the Android device, and it covers two kinds of record:

Alongside those records, the app keeps its own settings and display preferences, together with its interface state, such as the saved list order. These belong to the app rather than to the nurse's working records.

The app also keeps temporary files in its cache: the last shared text file until the next share replaces it, and the last exported PDF file until the next export replaces it. These are temporary files only and are cleared when the next one replaces them or when local app data is cleared.

  • Nursing care episodes, with patient reference, admission date, care unit, focus, risk level, status and nurse code, together with care items recording domain, intervention, target date and completion
  • Recurring monitoring orders, with patient reference, order type, start date, recurrence rule and value, next due date and days remaining, together with check items recording frequency and completion

Health Information Held Locally

The records a nurse keeps in the app may contain health information about the people in their care. That information is stored locally on the device and is not automatically transmitted to the developer. It leaves the device only when the user chooses to export or share it.

Exporting, Sharing and External Actions

Export and sharing are available in the app and are started only by the user, through the Android share sheet. A result can be exported as a PDF file, and a result can be shared as a plain-text file. Nothing leaves the device unless the user takes one of those actions.

Contact actions may open external Android services such as a browser, an email client or the Android share sheet when selected by the user. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices.

Permissions the App Declares

The app declares one Android permission, android.permission.INTERNET. It is declared by the framework the app is built with, and the app itself makes no network requests. No other Android permissions are declared.

What the App Does Not Include

The app does not include login or account registration, cloud synchronisation, backend storage of app content, advertising, analytics, tracking, payment processing, subscriptions or other monetisation features, and it does not include third-party service SDKs that receive app data.

Local Content and Developer-Side Collection

The company does not require personal identity information for the core workflow. The app stores the nurse's records locally on the device, and that content is not automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow.

User-created local content may contain personal information where the user chooses to enter patient references or other details into a record. That content remains on the device until the user deletes it, exports it or shares it.

Where a user emails the company, the company receives the address the message was sent from and whatever the message contains. That correspondence is separate from the records kept in the app.

Managing, Deleting and Retaining Local Data

Individual records can be deleted within the app, and local data can be cleared from within the app. Otherwise, local data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears the app's local data through the app or through Android device settings, or uninstalls the application.

Exported and shared files remain wherever the user chooses to save or send them, and the company has no control over those copies.

Security

Reasonable measures are used to support the integrity of the application. Local app content stays in the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Users remain responsible for securing their own device and any exported copies, and no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.

Important Use Notice

The app stores its data locally on this device only, and that data stays on the device unless the user exports or shares it.

The nursing care summary document reflects only the statuses, dates and flags entered by the user and is an aid for the nurse's own review. It is not a statutory clinical record of care.

Due dates and days remaining are calculated from the start dates and recurrence rules entered, and they should be checked against the planned order.

Your Rights in the UK and EEA

Users in the UK or the EEA may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including rights of access, correction, deletion and restriction, where those rights apply under the law. Whether they are available depends on whether personal data is processed by the company, and the app's core workflow does not transmit local records to the company.

Records held locally can usually be managed on the device, through the app's deletion and clear controls, through Android device settings, or by uninstalling the application.

Children's Privacy (13+)

The app is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or to address the situation.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in the law. The date shown with this policy is updated whenever its content changes, and the current version is the one presented with the application.
