Who you are speaking to

A clinical team built around working adults, not waiting rooms

PsychHealth Clinical Care is run by RAPID PSYCHIATRY ACCESS LTD, a British provider of employee mental health counselling. We were set up to answer a problem that employers kept describing to us: staff who need talking therapy or a psychiatric opinion often wait weeks for a first appointment, and by the time it arrives the moment has passed. We work the other way round, starting with how quickly a person can be seen.

Our clinicians are registered mental health nurses, therapists and psychiatrists who have spent their careers in NHS and private practice. You will be matched with someone whose training suits what you are bringing, whether that is a first episode of anxiety, a long-standing low mood, or the sleep and concentration problems that follow a period of acute stress. The match is a clinical judgement, not a rota slot.

Most of what we do sits alongside your working life rather than interrupting it. Sessions are held by secure video or telephone, with in-person appointments available where a clinician judges that meeting face to face would help. Appointments run into the early evening and on Saturdays. Notes stay clinical, and your employer receives aggregate reporting on uptake, never the content of what you discuss.

We take referrals directly from employees and through employer schemes, employee assistance programmes and occupational health teams. Whether you are paying for your own care or your workplace is covering it, the assessment route and the standard of clinical care are the same. Our medical director holds overall clinical responsibility, and every clinician we engage is registered with a relevant UK professional body.

Confidentiality is not a policy paragraph for us, it is the working condition that makes the rest possible. We keep to UK data protection law, we tell you at the outset who will see what, and we do not pass clinical detail to an employer without your written consent, except where the law or an immediate risk to life requires it. You can read the detail on our privacy page.
